Oh the Weather Outside is....warm?

Well so far it doesn't really feel like winter here in Atlanta, but that doesn't stop Christmas from coming, that's for sure! We have a couple of updates here at Sugar Plum Delights, mainly that we've added two new market dates to our Upcoming Events! We'll be at the Northside Farmers Market on Dec 8th and 15th, from 8:30 to 1pm! The market is located at Northside Drive Baptist Church, in the parking lot. There will be great food and wonderful arts & crafts available. Check it out! See website for details and directions!

Custom tutus are now available! We have a wide range of colors to choose from, and at this time turnaround time is a short 1 week! Order yours now! Stay tuned for pictures and a color chart.

Another new addition are Letters from Santa, from Imaginary Greetings. Personalized for your child, these are a great way to keep the belief alive! There are lots of different options to choose from, and with each purchase you get: Personalized letter from Santa Claus on beautiful embossed stationery with a Santa Claus postmark on the envelope, a personalized follow-up postcard mailed in January when Santa is on vacation, and a personalized "Santa Stop Here" Door hanger with name and choice of check list items. Start a fun new tradition with your children! Click here for more information and to purchase!

As always, we have great gifts for babies and children, and we love special requests if you have something specific in mind. Just let us know!

Have a wonderful holiday season everyone, and we hope to hear from you soon!

ICE Holiday Spectacular!

Hollypalooza this past Saturday was a lot of fun! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, it was great to see familiar faces, and to meet some wonderful new people too!

This Saturday, 11/17, is the Indie Craft Experience (ICE) Holiday Shopping Spectacular. ICE shows are always a lot of fun, so come and check it out! There will be over 70 vendors featuring all handmade goods, and fun & free craft projects! And of course I'll be there with my tutus and blankies and various other fun goodies! Katie won't be joining me as she had a prior engagement, but I'll still have her wonderful knit scarves and bibs available. The show is at the B Complex in West End. See below for more information! I would love to see you all there!
I have pictures of tutus, and even a fabulous tutu model, but I keep forgetting to upload them, so they will be coming soon!

This has been a pretty busy month so far, and I haven't gotten around to sewing too much. But the ideas just keep coming to me, so I better get them out soon! This past weekend I completed 5 Cowboy/Cowgirl Crayon Rolls for a customer on Etsy, and I'm working on more to put up for sale on Etsy and in Smarty Pants. Today I applied for the Junior League of Atlanta's Hollypalooza, so hopefully I'll get into that and get more exposure. It's the perfect time of year for Craft Shows, with Christmas coming soon! Tomorrow I'll be posting pictures of items that will be available at Hollypalooza if I get in, so stay tuned...

Greeting Cakes Are Now Available! To view the selection of yummy cakes, go to These cakes are the perfect thing to give instead of a greeting card! They definitely make an impression, and who doesn't like cake?

As promised, here are pics of my Cowboy Crayon Roll.. I'm so happy with the way it came out!

I'm still debating whether or not to post this one in our shop, as it's my prototype. But this one or one like it may pop up on there soon.. keep an eye out for it!

Not a lot has been going on with us lately..I took a break from sewing after the festival rush, but now I'm back with all sorts of ideas! Yesterday I whipped out a super-cute Cowboy Crayon Roll that my nephew fell in love with, so now he has to have one! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of it to post, but I will get some tonight and add them in to show off my handiwork! I think I did a pretty good job for my first roll-up! Until I get the pics added, here is a sample of the fabric that I used:

Cute, isn't it? I love Michael Miller fabrics! The original plan for this fabric was to make a diaper bag, and there may still be one of those forthcoming. Just wish I had more time to sew!

Also, a new wipe case made by Katie will be added to the Etsy shop. Check it out!

Until next time...

Goodies Now Available at Smarty Pants!

If you're looking for a great children's consignment shop in the Atlanta area, check out Smarty Pants in Kirkwood (intown). It's owned by an old friend of our family, Emily, and she has some great stuff. And, as of yesterday, Sugar Plum Delights goodies are available there as well! I dropped off some taggy blankets, wipe cases, fleece blankets, and a tote bag/diaper bag. Smarty Pants is located at 2002 Hosea L. Williams Dr., NE. I would have to check their hours, but I'm pretty sure they're open 7 days a week. Just give them a call! 404.377.9695
